Stop LTN's in L.B of Sutton

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Currently under COVID emergency measures, LTN's are being forced through by local governments without any democratic consultation of the electorate. They need to be stopped immediately unless full consultation is held prior to implementation and revoked until such time meetings can be held.
Government MUST intervene and ensure local government and councillors follow a full and open consultation with residents of the areas and towns affected and prevent implementation until this can be done as a democratic process. In the London Borough of Sutton these LTN's are being forced through without the full support of residents and the electorate damaging local relationships during a challenging pandemic and ruining local business and not supporting an 'open Britain'.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a matter for the local borough.
