Automatic ban for people who use their phone when driving.

What the petition asks
I want the government to introduce stricter penalties for using a phone when driving because as it is at the moment I see far too many people using their phone when driving. I believe an instant ban for anyone caught using a mobile is needed to stop people doing it.
I want the government to take action on this because it seems that a lot of drivers have become complacent. I also think that if stricter measures are put in place we will see a reduction in deaths on our roads. Any death on our roads holds untold grief for families and friends.
