Grant Independence to Kent
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
To grant independence to the County of Kent and the Unitary Authority of Medway.
If we are to have an international border separate our lands, then we are on the better side. We wish to no longer associate with a country that disrespects the people of Kent in this way.
If you want us to be foreigners so badly, then we will grant you that wish.
I hope you are happy with yourselves.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This would be a decision for the people of Kent. You could have a petition calling for the Government to hold a referendum, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
