What the petition asks

The Alliance for Full Employment wants the Government to create a fully funded Jobs Guarantee Scheme to cover all young people, including recent education leavers, by scaling up Kickstart and other job search and training support services in liaison with other national, regional and local agencies.

One million under 25s are already without jobs or training. We believe the government's winter economic plan is not helping them. With no V shaped recovery now expected, it must be adapted again soon to stop mass youth unemployment in 2021.The Alliance for Full Employment, 5 of England's Metro Mayors, political leaders in Wales, Scotland, N. Ireland, businesses, unions, clergy, want national funding and a proper youth jobs and training strategy to provide and protect the prospects of the young in our communities.
