Fund prescriptions for gluten-free food for all under 16s with coeliac disease

What the petition asks
The Government should help families with low income to buy gluten-free food for under 16s with Celiac disease. GPs can provide gluten-free foods on prescription, but due to funding constraints these prescriptions are not offered to everyone.
People with coeliac disease did not choose to have this disease, but many do not receive the support they need. Being a parent of a 4 year old with coeliac disease I find it such a struggle to be able to afford food for my child so sometimes I end up going without my evening meal to make ends meet.
