What the petition asks
Make it against the law for a dog to be tied up, whether the dog is being chained up or tethered.
No dog should be tied up for hours on end, as restricting a dog’s freedom to move can be damaging to a dog’s health, wellbeing and ability to properly socialise with humans and animals.

Dogs are naturally social creatures who thrive on interaction with humans and other animals. Dogs tied up in one spot can suffer psychological damage.
It can also lead to injuries, and even death as it is possible for a dog to hang itself if the chain/tether is caught up something high.
