What the petition asks

Currently in the UK, CBD flowers share the same legal status as Cannabis, despite having an extremely low concentration of THC. We need the government to allow the sale of CBD flowers, as research has shown CBD can be beneficial in many circumstances.

CBD flowers are in the category of class B drugs, yet CBD on its own is perfectly legal. CBD can and has helped many people with mental and physical health problems, with new articles coming out frequently to support the benefits of CBD. In the UK, we allow the sale of tobacco, despite the fact that it is detrimental to our health. CBD flowers are illegal due to their cultivation methods, not due to their concentration of THC. It is time for the government to listen to the people and make CBD flowers legal.
