Ensure access to school for children with ASDs/mental health issues during Covid

What the petition asks
When schools were closed in March they remained open to the children of critical workers and some vulnerable children. I want the Government to ensure that if schools are closed again that all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders/Mental Health issues are able to continue to attend school.
Many children with hidden ASD’s and/or Mental Health issues suffered immensely during lockdown which had an adverse effect on their families has whole.
Having to work from home and hold down a job (without the respite that schooling offers to parents) whilst tending to the additional emotional, physical and educational needs of a child with diagnosed mental health/ASD is unjust.
