Let children play sport with their school friends.

What the petition asks
Let children who go to school together and spend the best part of 6 hours indoors, play sport together for 1 hour during organised club sessions.
Children have suffered a lot of mental health issues during the last lockdown and now they’re being told they can’t play sport with the very same friends they’ve spent 6 hours in school with just because they have a different post code.
Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
All supervised activities for under-18s, including indoor and outdoor sports and exercise groups, are exempt from the rule of 6, provided relevant guidance is followed and risk assessments carried out: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-on-phased-return-of-sport-and-recreation/return-to-recreational-team-sport-framework
