Require schools to teach about environmental conservation

What the petition asks
The curriculum should be changed to require schools to teach kids about the negative effects of human activity on the planet and what they can do as individuals to help prevent this and conserve the environment. Currently this can be taught in science lessons but isn’t required.
I believe the generation being brought up today does not realise the affect their everyday actions have upon the environment all over the world. This education would help them understand how minor changes to their lifestyles can help to preserve the environment. This education would also create a generational awareness to make a change which hopefully will be passed down.
