Abolish charges for women changing their maiden to married name on passports

What the petition asks
I got married last year and had to pay £70 to change my maiden name to my married name. And this isn’t right at all.
I understand there are many charges to create the form of IDs so the passports and the driving licences. Yet I don’t understand where I had only renewed my passport 2 years ago, I suddenly have to pay the £70 again. I don’t think it’s right.
I don’t agree with it and I won’t stand for it anymore. I won’t travel abroad until this has been rectified.
