Allow close contact services to resume in Scotland.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We would like close contact services to resume in Scotland, and allow the removal of masks to perform treatments in a safe and hygienic manner, to include makeup, facials etc
Every other country has resumed treatments however Scotland have not even addressed this.
Scotland are the only country not addressing the close contact industry. you are able to remove masks for long periods of time to eat in restaurants, drink in bars with strangers, men can get a beard trim, you can visit the dentist, visit hairdressers, yet we can’t perform makeup, facials etc in a sterile and safe environment, with full PPE and following guidelines.
This is currently causing a collapse in the industry, leading to closures of businesses and mental health.
