What the petition asks

Open our side streets that were closed after/during lockdown especially in London.
By opening our streets, vehicles are not forced onto one main road causing heavy traffic and a lot of pollution. Please open our streets so kids can get to school on time, people can get home, parents & families can get to work on time, to stop pollution caused by traffic/gridlock and most importantly for emergencies to get to people/emergencies quicker.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This is a matter for the London Assembly and the Mayor of London, not the UK Government or Parliament.
