What the petition asks
Assist Suppliers in the Wedding & Hospitality Industries with financial aid, to cover the loss of earnings we have suffered as a result of COVID 19 restrictions. Our businesses, are our source of income. We have all fallen victim to a devastating oversight at the governmental level and need help.
Our Government has been able to provide financial aid to millions of people across the country through various schemes and grants however, those of us in the wedding and hospitality industry have been left high and dry with no prospect of knowing when or IF we will be able to continue to run our businesses.
According to a 2018 survey by Bridebook: Over 139,000 small businesses make up our industry with over 500,000 people, and is worth over £10B to the British economy.
Why have we been left out?
