Who ever effected in the society, specially Muslim women who have following to marry a man according to the (Sharia law), is in a critical situation. Also, it will effect their credibility of future claim under Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 after the decision of court of appeal, Akther v Khan 2020.
It should be consider the facts causation of the case of Akther v khan 2020, which she has facing a significant amount of time and experience with her husband, which is for 20 years.
How can this important facts can be ignored just because of the absent of the civil ceremony?
Amendments of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and Equity and Trusts law very important. Which should have reasonable expectation to all the applicants without prejudice the culture, race, age and nationality.
