Increase financial support to Hospitality and The Arts

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

With the current situation of Covid, it is evident that both these sectors are suffering the most. Businesses are collapsing and the new job support scheme is sadly not enough the save these industries. Further support needs to be given to these establishments and the employees working for them.
These industries are pivotal to the countries economy in both revenue and employment. Both have adapted with the virus and implemented the big changes at business expense whilst suffering under the restrictions. More financial help is needed to secure businesses in these sectors will survive, along with job security for employees as 2/3 of a wage on zero hours is unliveable for most. More needs to be done as a world without pubs, restaurants, bars, theatre and cinemas is sadly becoming a reality
