Postpone prelims until January 2021

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Due to recent circumstances of online learning and being off school. It was very hard learning online and I’m not ready for the prelims and I’m sure others feel the same but even though they aren’t exams I’d still like to take them seriously and need more time to prepare for them.
I feel they are in the highest power and therefore should help us out and postpone the prelims for s3s to help us prepare as these predict our futures and this year they were used for the exams that couldn’t be taken so if we don’t do well on the prelims because we didn’t have enough time to prepare our results will be awful therefore this is a desperate plead from me and others to postpone them.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Your petition is about something that the Scottish Government is responsible for. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.

The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. If you'd like to send your petition to the Scottish Parliament, you can find out more here:
