Exempt family of new parents from household mixing and social distancing rules

What the petition asks
The Government should allow new parents and their babies to have contact and support from other family members during the pandemic. The current rules on social distancing and household mixing prevent many new parents from being able to see or receive support from their family.
Babies born in the pandemic are at a major disadvantage in many ways, not only unable to form bonds for vital relationships such as grandparents, but also with the lack of other baby support and groups which have been cancelled Allowing new parents to have support from other family members is crucial to not only the babies wellbeing but also that of new parents.
