Allow swimming pools to remain open during Covid-19 in all alert levels

What the petition asks
Swimming pools have been required to close as part of Tier 3 restrictions in many areas, including Wirral, part of the Liverpool area. We want the Government to allow swimming pools to be open to all age groups during Covid-19, even under Tier 3 restrictions lockdown.
Swimmers are deprived of the activity that enables them to keep fit, which helps to maintain a healthy immune system. Swimming pools can operate in a Covid-secure way, and we believe it is unjustifiable for them to be closed when restaurants etc remain open.
Unlike gyms and restaurants, swimming pools also provide a unique service that most people cannot access at home.
