What the petition asks

Ask for a full debate to create an alternative route for HGV’s.
Ask for a full debate to create an alternative route for HGV’s.
This issue has remained for more than 10 years and no council had made the decision to improve the level of pollution in Chipping Norton which are now at dangerous levels.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about local road restrictions and air quality measures are a matter for the relevant local authority, not the Government or House of Commons.
