What the petition asks
PPE is an essential part of the response to COVID-19. The countries Health and Social Care providers need the Government to continue its support for its provision by extending its Zero VAT rating until the crisis is officially over and wholesale vaccinations are in place
PPE is an essential part of the response to COVID-19 in all business', the general public at large and especially in the essential provision of Health and Social Care. With Covid levels increasing the wearing of PPE is even more important, an increase in cost of 20% at this time is going to hits all business' hard and act as a dissinsentive for the general public. The continuation of the Governments support is essential.
