What the petition asks
Cancel the plans to extend the congestion zone to north and south circular areas.
This new congestion area is absolutely detrimental to; disabled citizens of London who solely rely on their own personal vehicles, to couriers, to cab drivers & to the general public.
Many hospitals, GP practices and medical centres are inside the new congestion zone constantly paying for congestion zone charges will result in financial despair in a global pandemic. The government have urged the public not to use public transport, however we cannot afford to pay congestion charges daily.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
It has been reported that the UK Government has suggested that London's congestion zone be extended, but doing so would be a matter for the London Assembly and the London Mayor.
