What the petition asks
For all MPs to sacrifice their salary (& pension contribution) for a period of 6 month as a symbol of solidarity with those who have lost their job/business as a result of the lock down.
Many members of our society have lost their source of income as a result of the lockdown measures. These 'sacrifices' have been forced on individuals by MPs who were elected and therefore have a guaranteed salary for the duration of this Parliament. In a show of solidarity I invite all MPs to sacrifice their income & pension contribution for a period of 6 months so they can experience the economic suffering they are inflicting on the rest of society.

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
