What the petition asks
To enforced a change in labelling and packaging for cosmetic, beauty, medical and similar products that test on or use animals in the production process. Currently only brands that do not test on animals or use animal products are labelled as cruelty free or vegan.
In the interest of full transparency the consumer should be made aware if the product that they are buying or using has been tested on animals, or parts of an animal have been used in the in the process.
A clear label should be placed on the product stating e.g This product was tested on animals or something of that nature.
