Stop the sale of electric shock collars for dogs

What the petition asks
We want the government to firstly, ban this product from being imported, exported, manufactured, sold or traded within the UK. A future law to be implemented, by which users of said product will receive sentencing for animal abuse, and the possession of a prohibited weapon.
The use of electroconvulsive therapy on animals is a barbaric practise, with no scientific evidence proving that it is beneficial to animals. Having seen thousands sold online within UK, this is a worrying modern form of animal abuse. Despite previous efforts of the government to ban this product, these are still being sold in the masses.
