What the petition asks
Group fitness exercises classes are a vital part not only to promote health and fitness to the body but also to the mind.
Thousands of people use fitness classes not only as a way of becoming fitter but as an escape.
An escape from home, work etc it’s a way to release their stresses.

Many people need motivation and support that a fitness instructor gives during these group exercise classes. Gyms and studios have all the Covid secure measures in place, no mixing, social distancing, track and trace, regular cleaning etc
The levels of infection in a class fitness environment is so very very low it’s practically unheard of. We are capable of keeping everyone Covid secure as per the guidelines we need to continue on for the people for their physical and mental healths.
