Review the procedure and criteria for getting legal aid
Rejected

What the petition asks
There have been high profile cases of suspected terrorist and their sympathisers getting legal aid to defend themselves in court and appeals. Meanwhile some hard working, law abiding, tax paying citizens have to fund their own private prosecutions and lawsuits to get justice. This needs a review.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as restricting the types of cases where legal aid can be used.
