Kent county council should provide free school meal vouchers over the half term

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

To get Kent to provide their own free school meals
Because we can’t accept that the 44,710 children in Kent who are living in absolute poverty will go hungry. If the government won’t give out the much needed vouchers, then Kent County Council should.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about local services are a matter for Kent County Council, not the Government or House of Commons.
