What the petition asks

Please stop all missleading reports of Covid 19 under the cloak of "Corona virus" as there is no such virus as "Corona virus"
There are seven types/groups of "Corona viruses" as listed by the gov own web site CDC. Centers for Deasease Control.
Please report only the pandemic virus, Covid 19

Human corona viruses identified the 1960s.
Coronaviruses that can infect people are:
Common human coronaviruses
229E (alpha coronavirus)
NL63 (alpha coronavirus)
OC43 (beta coronavirus)
HKU1 (beta coronavirus)
Other human coronaviruses
MERS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS)
SARS-CoV (the beta coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS)
SARS-CoV-2 (the novel coronavirus that causes coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19)

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The Government publishes statistics of the number of individuals who have had at least one lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result.
