What the petition asks

Children in deprived areas have a very real potential to go hungry this half term because the government reversed the decision to allow free school meals for those in need,

Please reverse this immediately

Give free school meals in and outside of term for those children in need.

The government MUST reverse the decision. It should not be left to independent organisations and the kindness and good will of individuals. Yes they can mop up but the driving force should come from Government. Children are suffering. For everything else they may have to endure, do not let hunger be one of them. Imagine your child.
