What the petition asks
Make all sanitary products for women free as they are a major essential
They are a big essential and some people struggle to afford these especially if they are on a low income. Some people go without sanitary products and just use tissue instead of being able to buy pads and tampons
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
