What the petition asks

'Government of the people by the people for the people'. If this is still true, I urge the government to make the lives of LGBT youths that little bit better in 2021 by banning all forms of GCT. By banning this abhorrent practice, we can lead globally in terms of LGBT rights & Mental Health wellness

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people. LGBT teenagers are 5 times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers and are more than 8 times more likely if they come from a family that rejects their lifestyle. It did not happen by chance that my life as a gay man approaching his 40s is drastically better than of previous generations, therefore I want to do my small part in continuing this amazing progress.
