Keep gyms, pools and health&fitness facilities open.

What the petition asks
Keep gyms and swimming pools open for people to train on their own or only with members of their household to prevent significant physical and mental health effects.
Not everyone can exercise outside. Many people have a physical condition that means they need the assistance of equipment/a pool. It’s winter and will be unsafe for many people to exercise outside after working hours. Exercise is imperative for mental and physical wellbeing. It is literally prescribed by the NHS as a treatment for many conditions. The government have said health related activity to go ahead. This should include gyms and pools. They’re not ‘leisure’, they’re a lifeline.
