Keep indoor gyms open during the second national lockdown

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Keep indoor gyms open. Gyms have been open safely for months with limited numbers, social distancing and regular and thorough cleaning.

If mitigation measures were required, maximum numbers could be limited further to lower the risk as much as possible, while allowing people to stay fit.
Health and fitness is vitally important for physical and mental health, particularly now we are into winter.

The weather and fewer daylight hours makes makes it increasingly difficult to exercise outdoors.

Gyms have been open safely for months, with users respecting the rules and social distancing
