What the petition asks
Allow gyms to remain open, they’re essential for both mental and physical health. Physical fitness has been proven to boost the immune system and help combat viruses.
Gyms help with our mental and physical health. They help relieve stress, offer sanctuary for some and are a coping mechanism for a lot of people during these uncertain times. With the weather changing outdoor activity will soon become less frequent.
Regular exercise can boost your immune system and help fight off infections. Exercise allows immune cells to perform effectively, it increases blood flow, reduces stress and inflammation, and can strengthen antibodies.
