What the petition asks
We want the government to use shielding, social distancing and hygiene measures to mitigate the the spread of COVID 19. And commit to no more regional or national lockdowns. We want the NHS to resume all elective treatments and surgeries. We want government to allow the economy to recover.
1. Learn to live with Covid 19 (it’s not going anywhere). We must adapt (protect the venerable) but carry on with life as normally as posible.
2. Look at the deaths From Covid 19 compared to deaths from missed or prospered elective surgery and treatment.
3. Look at the average age of those who die from Covid 19 when compared to the global life expectancy.
4. Look at the economic cost to the economy, personal lives and future generations who will have to pay for these lockdowns.
5. Look at all scientific studies (not just government advisory ones)
