Gyms should stay open for the month of lockdown.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Allow the already Covid secure gyms in England to remain open during the month of lockdown.
Gyms are essential for mental and physical health and are not a source of Covid-19 transmission. They should therefore remain open during lockdown. It isn’t easy to exercise outside during the winter and there are people who rely on gyms for both physical and mental health. Obesity and poor health are known COVID-19 risk factors. Regular exercise helps in the fight against Illness. Shuttling gyms during lockdown it contradictory to the advice from medical professionals.
