What the petition asks
Allow children to continue to train with their clubs and play in league matches during the lockdown.
The government acknowledge it is essential that children continue to attend school during lockdown as this is important for their mental health. Playing football is essential exercise for many children and promotes mental wellbeing. It’s safe as it’s outdoors and the government acknowledge in any event that children can mix as they are this is what they are doing in school.
