Allow grassroots football during the lockdown.

What the petition asks
Children were deeply effected emotionally and physically when football was suspended during the first lockdown. Getting back to it provided a massive boost and to suspend it again will be a huge blow.
If children are allowed to go to school where let’s be honest, the majority of viruses like coronavirus are spread, then it doesn’t seem to make any sense to prevent them from playing football outdoors in a safe environment. Teams, coaches, parents and children alike have proved that they can abide by the rules and there doesn’t appear to be any evidence to suggest that organised sport has contributed to the spike. Sport is good for children’s social, physical and mental well-being.
