Exempt grass roots football from restricted activities during lockdown 2
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
In specific reference to the continuation of grassroots football both at youth and senior level there is also no evidence to indicate this activity, played outdoors, predominantly amongst healthy young people, has contributed adversely to Covid-19 infections.
Grassroots football should be allowed to continue during this time, observing social distancing where possible and taking necessary precautions pre, during and post training/match.
To discriminate directly against those not operating at elite level in nonsensical and detrimental to millions of participants.
