Open gyms permanently through out coronavirus lockdown periods

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Gyms to be open for mental and physical health.

Gyms are not just used to get fit, they are used to help individuals with their mental health such as eating disorders and stress. They are also used for Physical health such as people in the community who have disabilities.
Gyms help lots of people with their physical health alongside their mental health.

There will be individuals that now exercise after work in the dark and cold on their own leaving them more vulnerable to harm in their local areas. The gym is a safe environment not just because it’s supervised but because they have spent millions on rebuilding gyms to allow them to be covid secure.

Gyms also help with immune systems by making them stronger. They help with physical and mental health.
