What the petition asks

Allow gyms that are capable of following strict and safe Covid-19 Guidelines to remain open.
If you look at the data in comparison to pubs & schools gyms are not the issue at hand for spread of the virus.
Some may not understand, but some really do. The gym & fitness in any form acts as a sanctuary for a lot of people. Whether it be mental health, personal growth or things not being right at home.

I know some of these myself personally and can vouch for thousands of other people that can relate to this.

Not to mention the nations obesity problem which has already cost the government a lot of money promoting. It is now controversial to change the direction of the UK.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
