Recognise the mental health benefits of horses and keep equestrian centres open

What the petition asks
Provide support to riding schools, equestrian centres and equine assisted learning centres. Acknowledging their role as a key service in mental health provision.
Riding is treated ( during lockdown) as a participant sport however it also serves as a therapeutic/ support service for many of our users. The benefits reach across all area of society, with no boundaries. To see riding as an elite sport is short sighted and naive. To over look it’s benefits at times of lockdown is perilous.
