Ban all export of live animals

What the petition asks
The government told us that we could not ban live export because of EU legislation. We are no longer in the EU so live export, with exemption for breeding and sport, can be banned. It can cause death and suffering to animals. It is cruel and unnecessary.
Long distance live animal transport frequently results in death, overcrowding, exhaustion, dehydration, pain, stress, illness and disease with no legal protection. This ordeal is completely unacceptable.
