Prevent Hair &Beauty salons closing in a Covid-19 spike situation

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Not put Hair and Beauty salons in the same category as pubs and restaurants in Covid-19 spike lockdowns - if we are on that same category why has our industry not been benefiting from reduced Vat to 5% ??? Or ongoing financial support to cover massive loss in income due to Covid-19Restrictions ??
The hair & beauty industry not be put in the same category as pubs and restaurants for Covid-19 spike lockdowns ..we cannot keep our business going with ‘takeaway/delivery or online-services , we do not benefit from reduced Vat % like they do but we are put in the same ‘business box’ as them .The industry has had to greatly reduce the potential for income by compliance of strict Covid systems and because of this NO CASES OF COVID-19 have been as a result of someone visiting a hair or beauty salon
