Give Nurses free travel in London, the same as the Metropolitan Police.

What the petition asks

Since the government is not giving appropriate pay rises to nurses, please support our suggestion to at least provide them with free travel in London to help them get to work and save some money whilst saving lives. This would provide incentive for people to work in London.
The Metropolitan Police have benefitted from freen travel in London for some time now. Something like the scheme that is used there could change nurses lives forever and help them save a considerable amount of money, taking into account the salaries that they are on compared to their key worker counterparts.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a matter for TfL and the Mayor of London.
