What the petition asks

Now the english REQUIREMENTS of GMC to register forigner doctors is to have b in oet or
as we need more and more doctors, espcially during covid crises ,we can solve one of the problems facing forginer doctors and taking more effort of them by decreasing english requirements to c+ or 3Bs one c+

Parliament can discuss this issue and can recomend it to be started by gmc as the nurses' engliah requirment

To fill the decrease of the doctors in NHS especially during corona crises

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The English language requirements for doctors are set by the independent regulator for doctors in the UK, the General Medical Council (GMC), not the Government or Parliament.

We could accept a petition calling on the Government to investigate how to reduce barriers to non-UK medical professionals from joining the NHS.
