Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

To much unpredictable to be able to trade effectively if you can at all. My Industry events and exhibitions is basically illegal.

People will be starving, unable to heat homes and children will suffer and over Christmas also.
Self employed must be given same as PAYE, we all pay taxes. At end of day self employed is done on profit so we paid in so why less back out?

So 80% for 3 months November to January.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since you started your petition the Government has extended the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme grant so that it covers a 3 month period from 1 November 2020 until 31 January 2021, for which the Government will provide a taxable grant calculated at 80% of 3 months average monthly trading profits, paid out in a single installment and capped at £7,500 in total: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/self-employment-income-support-scheme-grant-extension/self-employment-income-support-scheme-grant-extension
