What the petition asks
We call on the government to keep places of worship open as an essential part of the life of our nation.
In agreement with the calls from the leaders of the British faith communities, we argue that public worship is essential to sustain our service. Public worship is necessary for social cohesion and connectedness. Public worship is important for the mental health of our nation. Public worship is an essential sign of hope.
