What the petition asks

I'm dyslexic and I find it difficult to write assignments over near 4000 words in university. I would rather stand in front of my lecturer and do a presentation instead of writing. I have felt like this effects my grades and my ability to get my point across. This would allow people like me a chance

This is coming from my personal beliefs and feelings yes but my fellow students are in favour of this as it allows for students to have a more personalised approach to their work.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Assessment decisions are a matter for individual institutions, however there is already a legal requirement to make reasonable adjustments. You can find out more here:
